San Martino Cortina ski crossed

Mythical crossing by San Martino di Castrozza to Cortina d’Ampezzo, which drives again along the
routes covered by the Alpine Guides in the winters of mid twentieth century.
We will use as much as possible the ski lift facilities, completing with short climbs with sealskins or
on foot skis on one’s back.
The way to cross the most beautiful mountain chains of our Dolomites:
Pale di San Martino, Falcade and Col Margherita,Marmolada and Cima Uomo, Arabba e Padon,
Pordoi and Sella, Falzarego and 5 Torri, Tofane and Cristallo.
Program:
1st day: from San Martino to San Pellegrino Pass
Climb to Rosetta peak with cable car and downhill race to Gares across Bona Valley;
Lunch and transfer to Molino; climb to Col Margherita, downhill crossing the north;
Overnight stay at San Pellegrino Pass.
2nd day: climb to Forca Rossa Pass with sealskins and downhill to Malga Ciapela;
Freeride on Marmolada slopes and night at Pian dei Fiacconi Hut.
3rd day: move to Arabba and Pordoi Pass;
Descent along Lasties valley and night at Lupo Bianco resort.
4th day: crossing along The Masdì valley and freeride in Corvara ski slopes.
Overnight stay at Corvara.
5th day: transfer with skilift facilities to Falzarego and 5 Torri and night at a hut.
6th day: Freeride on Cortina and Cristallo skislopes. At evening come back to San Martino.
Dinner at Regina Restaurant, sauna, swimming pool and Jacuzzi by night under the stars.
Period: from February to closing date of the lift facilities.
Price: euros 1200 including Alpine Guide, personal insurance, hotel or hut with half board and
luggage transfer.
Transfer from and to airport extra euros 164 minimum 4 people there and back airports Venice
and Treviso.
